Dr Stacey DeAmicis is a Lecturer in Marine Ecology and Learning Development Advisor at Plymouth University and member of Plymouth’s Marine Institute. Originating from the U.S., Stacey completed her B.A. in Botany with a minor in Biological Oceanography. As a Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholar, she completed her Ph.D. in Marine & Environmental Sciences at Plymouth University in 2012.
Stacey is interested in the scientific basis for managing environmental problems caused by humans. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, her current research is providing important understanding about the ecological and economic consequences relating to the spread of invasive species within coastal ecosystems.
