Hannah Bird is an independent project manager and producer, creating and leading projects for individuals and organisations in the creative industries including Southbank Centre, Ackroyd & Harvey and What Next?. She is passionate about the art of exploration and particularly the synergy and overlap between art and science.
Hannah has a science degree but began her career working at Arts Council England which fueled a professional interest in bringing diverse groups of people together and nurturing unexpected relationships. Between 2007 and 2010, she worked at Cape Farewell managing expeditions to the High Arctic and the Peruvian Andes, visiting both areas with diverse groups of artists, scientists and collaborators helping to facilitate knowledge exchange, develop ideas and ultimately produce artworks and events.
Hannah was the associate-editor on behalf of University of the Arts, London for the Bright Series publication Expedition and is the project manager for What Has To Be Done.
